Check the Linux Version, Release name and Kernel version

  • uname -a (Print all Information)
  • uname -r (Print the kernel name)
  • uname -m
  • cat /proc/version
  • cat /etc/issue
  • cat /etc/redhat-release
  • lsb_release –a
  • tail /etc/redhat-release
